It's very upsetting that UTD has taken such a stand against Shawn Beightol, who has only helped and been on the side of teachers and school workers from day one. What is UTD waiting for to endorse Shawn Was he not nominated UTD Steward of the Year and always been on your side Perhaps it's time to reconsider where I spend my hard earned dues money!

    Comments: I do not understand why Mr. Beightol would not be endorsed for District 3 especially when you consider that Martin Karp has repeatedly cast his vote against teachers over and over again. There would be plenty more people out of a job if it were up to him. Mr. Beightol would be a voice that would no doubt represent what is in the best interest of students and teachers. I do not know about you, but frankly I am sick and tired of the same old 5 to 4 results. We so desperately need someone who will finally speak out loudly, clearly, and honestly. To not endorse him speaks volumes. It is time to put the pettiness aside and do what is best for teachers and students .
