    Comments: I don't own this phone but vendors need to listen to their customers. Why would anyone who signed this want to buy another Samsung phone? A good PR move would be to get like other companies and do just some of the work that hobbyists volunteer doing already. With paid staff versus community base why is it that the company with the budget can't spend what 2-3 days max to push 2.*

    Comments: To say that I feel cheated would be an understatement. I bought this phone less than 2 months ago with the understanding that it would eventually get a 2.x update. It was in their promotional material, it was once on their website, and it was in all the reviews. I feel like this is a classic bait and switch and when I've contacted Samsung, they have said they can't comment on the release of the operating system, but they sure as hell can try to sell me on an upgrade to the Galaxy S - which I'd end up paying full price for since I used my phone upgrade on the Behold II. Unless they support their product, I'm never going to buy another Samsung product again, and I will definitely make sure to pass that on to everyone I know.

    Comments: I was convinced to buy this phone by the tmobile rep.. and by promo videos i saw that this phone was going to be updated to 2.x....that was one of the major selling points of this phone

    Comments: I've been a Samsung patron for several years, but seeing the support essentially dropped for a phone released on months ago is upsetting and WILL be taken into consideration in future decisions. I, too, was under the assumption Samsung would be supporting this phone through to the most recent version of Android at the time of its release. While this appears to not be the case, I hope Samsung will reconsider its decision as we would all appreciate Samsung's continued support of our phone.

    Comments: I have never signed an online petition before, I feel that Samsung needs to stand behind their product. There is no honor in what is being done here and I am very disappointed and surprised that a company as big as Samsung would do this to their loyal customer base. The main reason I purchased this phone was for the upcoming release of the 2.X Android OS. I knew this phone was running a very old release, but made the decision based on what I was told. At this point, I have no plans of purchasing another Samsung product. I still have a contract with my phone vendor on a phone that is not going to be receiving any more updates, but I am still required to pay for this product. All I am asking for is what I was told I would receive. In America, my family raised us to be a person of our word. When we sold products and services in our family business we always deliver on our promises no matter how hard it was. I guess we are living in a day and age where you not longer have to do that. Very sad!

    Comments: After exhaustive research, it's pretty apparent that Samsung has backed away from it's marketing statements regarding the Behold II. All we ask is that you make the update to 2.1 ( or 2.2 as it is recently released, and offers a more streamlined base system software ).

    Comments: Well Sadly I had bought mine at a Price of $427 as I was told 2.* was Coming to the Phone… Day’s before I was Told that 2.* would not be support I traded a Motorola Cliq for another Phone ( That is Getting 2.1 )… So at this Point, I feel Very Be-trade. Also, After hearing this News & Dealing with Problems & Nightmare of getting my brand New Blue-Ray player Fixed & Replaced ( Wouldn’t play New Movies & Said needed Firmware update? ) that My in-law’s had bought me & my Wife, Support is Lacking & I feel at this point in time, I’ll likely never buy another Samsung Product!

    Comments: I bought two of these phones under the assumption that Samsung would stick to their word and update them to 2.x. I have already filed a complaint with the BBB and have been consistently posting to their FB and Twitter pages and will continue to do so until they do what they said they were going to do!

    Comments: This truly saddens me that Samsung totally giving up on us. I did buy this phone for the PROMISE of 2.x in the future. Now that I get an email from Samsung that it will *Not get and Update to 2.X* I just cant sit around weeping and doing nothing about it. This requires legal action. Thanks for creating this Petition. Here is the Email I got. Dear Brent, Thank you for your inquiry. There will not be an upgrade to Android 2.X for the SGH-T939. Your continued interest in Samsung products is appreciated.     Comments: I own 4 Behold II's (Family Plan). I will be very upset if Samsung does not do one of the following: 1. Update the Behold II to 2.x or 2. Release ALL the source code and proprietary bits to the Behold II, so that the community can upgrade the Behold on its own.

    Comments: The behold 2 is more then capable of runnig 2.1. Only problems i see here: 1) bunch of lazy ass developers. 2) and/or samsung just gaveup because they used the behold 2 as nothing more then testing ground for the android platform with zero disregard tours their customers. Hmm..may not make sense to some but it sure does to me at this very moment.

    Comments: A great disservice has been done to those unlucky enough to purchase a Samsung Behold 2, the phone has only been out for several months and the support Samsung promised in November of 2009 has already been dropped. The phone exceeds the minimum requirements to support the 2.x Android OS, and for some reason we are being denied the updates that we were promised just a few short months ago.
