Name: Susan Johnson on Jan 31, 2013Comments: This is disgusting you will make more people yet again suffer with these stupid things you find to bleed us dry with. Why don't you stop immigrants coming here and claiming benefits and taking all the housing and maybe we would not need these steps you are taking. Soon no one will have enough money to even pay bills let alone eat and clothe themselves. BE ASHAMED!Flag

Name: Denise Ford on Feb 1, 2013Comments: What else is left for the goverment to take away from us? I don't get benefits butthis bedroom tax is a disgrace. circumstances for everyone are different. People may have more than two bedrooms but in the case of disabled people they may need carers at various times, or partners may not share the same room due to disabilities so why should they have to pay more. Are their lives not stressful enough. How much more have people got to take before this goverment realise people are already on their knees.Flag

Name: Jennet Elizabeth McLeod on Feb 12, 2013Comments: This is an appalling attack on those who have little chance of avoiding the additional payments, since the supply of smaller properties is wholly inadequate to meet the likely demand. In addition, the policy actually works against the Government's supposed support for families - why should a single parent who shares the care of their children have to pay more for having a bedroom in which they can sleep? It will also make it impossible for older people to move to smaller, more manageable properties as they will be the only ones not penalised for having spare bedrooms. Ironically, this comes at a time when housing associations are no longer building single bedroom properties as they recognise that people need to have the capacity to provide accommodation for relatives/friends/carers.Flag

Name: S K Gibson on Feb 14, 2013Comments: Completely and utterly stupid, when a govenment pays MPs to have second homes paid from your wages, yet penalises the people that pay them for having a spare bedroom. So if thats how its going to work,,,,stop MPs from having a second home.let them use travel lodges for over night stays,,,,No more lunches for their friends. Let them live on what the below avarage working person lives onFlag

Name: Christine Dumonceau on Feb 15, 2013Comments: I live in Craigmillar near Edinburgh. I have been distributing leaflets around since last year, going to meetings and anti cuts protests. People around me seem oblivious of what is coming, the I.T systems are not up to date yet I am told! Folks are feeling despondent as if they can't do anything. A lot of people around Craigmillar have terrible problems with writing and reading, how will they manage fillling in new form on line? Most are too embarrassed anyway to seek help because they are on benefits the more so now after the witch hunting nof the press. This new created poverty is worrying me as an ex-nurse where physical and mental .health are concerned, stress, domestic violence due to money worries and fear of losing their home!It will have a knock on effect on public resources; n.h.s, police, judiciary, charities suchb as shelter and the cyrenians. While Cameron has a mansion and MILLIONS in the Caiman Islands. To make people poor and poorer is to stop them fighting back the state who is harming us all and improving their lives, being the master of their destiny. What can you do when you are starving and homeless? It is picking on one group of society just like Hitler started picking on the sick and the disables, then the jews and the gypsies!Flag

I'm 64 this year and my health's not too good. Moving will probably worsen my condition but it seems we're all just pawns to this coalition government..I'll never vote Tory or Liberal again and Labor are totally useless, I am looking to UKIP to upset the gravy train tomorrow!Flag
