As members of Highland Park, IL off-leash dog park at Moraine Beach we are proposing as an alternative to our off-leash beach privileges; that we as responsible dog owners, have a second area (within this park) to exercise our dogs off-leash. There are occasions when the weather is prohibitive at the beach or to accommodate those with shaggy dogs, not interested in a fully wet and sandy dog! An alternative location is requested. Because of the size of Moraine Beach (and how rarely the upper open area of this park used by the public-at-large, we are proposing a designated area fenced or unfenced at a designated specific time where this could be possible. 4-6pm daily
