Collection Fees Should Be Proportionate to the Fine.
Beat The Bailiffs has been set up to Expose the Absurdity of Bailiff / Enforcement Companies who are Extorting money by Excessive Charges added onto amounts they are commissioned to collect.
Collection Charges should be in proportion to the amount owed, it is not unusual to find these organisations multiplying the debt by 10 times, and applying pressure on those who are frightened by the assumed power of the Bailiff.
The Law needs to be Challenged and the Bailiff Industry needs to be regulated in the interest of the Public at Large, to stop the obscenities from continuing.
We do not condone the non payment of fines, but what is there to gain by applying such exorbitant fees to a genuine case of financial hardship.
Action needs to be taken against those in Bailiff Service Industry who are abusing their position, these Companies should be exposed.
If you have had a personal bad experience and feel that the charges levied for collection an outstand debt have been excessive we would like to hear from you, and to support a change in the Law to regulate these Companies we would welcome you signing our petition.
Beat The Bailiffs is for those people like myself in Genuine Hardship. Why should these Companies get away with Social Bullying. If like me you have been on the receiving end of this type of Extortion from an Enforcement Agency or Bailiff please send me details so that I can expose them and add weight to the campaign to the Government to regulate
The charges these people make. Please email me at email@example.com .
