Polar bears have been placed on the endangered species list. They are the first species to be endangered due to global warming. Saint Louis Zoo's last polar bear, Hope, died in 2009. Since then they have made plans to build a twenty million dollar exhibit to house and breed polar bears. The zoo is having trouble obtaining the polar bears due to the Marine Mammal Protection Act that prevents American zoo's from rescuing or housing bears. Help us amend the act so the St. Louis Zoo can get a polar bear!
