Name: Ronna D Snyder on May 7, 2010Comments: Dr. Brester is a wonderful, competent veternarian. He has always done a good job when it comes to caring for our dogs, cats, sheep, and cows. My father worked for him many years ago, as well as my step-mother. I even worked for him for a little while assisting him on farm calls. His skills, knowledge and work manner has always impressed me. Growing up....Dr. Brester was my hero. I wanted to be a loving, kind, county veternarian just like him and some of my fondest childhood memories are riding along with him on large animal farm calls. From the information I have read, he's doing his continued ed as required and keeping up with booking records and paperwork. Not sure what the problem is. We need to remember that he's just a man, not perfect....just like the rest of us. Unfortunately, in a lawsuit freenzy society that we are living in today, Dr.'s of all types of medicine are prone to these types of legal battles. Dr. Brester is a good veternarian and a wonderful man. I'll be praying that Our Lord handles this situation in His Way. God Bless you and your WONDERFUL FAMILY Doc!!Flag

Name: Leada Carr on May 7, 2010Comments: Dr Brester has helped our family animals for years. I still take my dogs to him. Several times stray dogs have wandered onto our property, some with injuries, some just sick. Dr. Brester always treated these strays with as much care as the family pets. He also refused to take payment for the strays. He's a good man, a great vet and a great asset to the community. It would be an outrage and a terrible crime to take this caring vet out of our lives. Name: Kathleen Hirons on May 7, 2010Comments: Dr. Brester has treated pets with great compassion and great skill for the 35 years I have taken my animals to him. He keeps his cost down and treats illnesses in a common sense way for those 10's of 1000's of us who cannot afford to go to fancy city vets. The board needs to shadow him for a day to see what this man does. Sit in his waiting room for 5 hours and talk to the people who wait, patiently, to see him. There is a special place in heaven for this vet who cares about animals and has devoted his life to them.Flag

Name: Matthew Phelps on May 7, 2010Comments: Dr. Brester has been the animal doctor of all my family and friends as we grew up and old in Brown County. He has never given me or anyone in out community less than 100% compassion towards any and all animals. There has been cases personally where he has actually treated my beloved dogs for free. Please show your support.Flag

Name: Bobbie Ellebrecht on May 7, 2010Comments: Our family has been using Doc Brester for over 10 years. I used to travel from the Eastside of Indy and now I travel from Cloverdale for him to care for my beloved furry family members. Gracie was my first English Bulldog who we adopted and soon after found she had some health issues and got kidney infections, Doc Brester "always" took great care with her and should such compassion you would of thought she was his dog. I was unsure about having my bulldogs spayed because of the risk to them but Doc B eased my fears and I had both Gracie and Halo spayed at his office. I can not imagine trusting anyone else with my girls and feel it is greed of the other vets that is wanting him closed. Leave him alone and lets us take our pets where we are comfortable. FYI I will soon be taking our newest addition Sunny in to be spayed.Flag

Name: Cathy Jo Bryant on May 7, 2010Comments: It will be a death sentence to hundreds maybe thousands of helpless animals if Dr. Brester is forced out of business! I am afraid that without Dr. Brester there will be animals that will never see the inside of a vet's office. There are those who CAN NOT afford to pay the high prices of all other vets. Dr. Brester does not charge "office visit fees", etc. Dr. Brester actually cares more about the animals than he ever could about making money. I don't go to Dr. Brester because of what he charges I go because he is the best vet I have ever been to. The first time we took a cat to him was in 1968. The other day we found a stray cat/kitten who had been mauled by a dog or some other animal. He had severe bites to his chest, leg, neck and his tail was partially torn off. Dr. Brester fixed this little guy up (and didn't hardly charge enough to cover his own costs). This little stray (stray no more) name is Buddy and he is living proof of the love and skill of Dr. Brester!Flag

Name: Trudie Willard on May 7, 2010Comments: I would never take my animals anywhere else but to doctor brester. When other vets told me my cat would die from a flea medication overdose, Dr. Brester came in a saw her, After a short time she fully recovered and is living still today. He has called me several times in the early a.m. to help me with an ill pet. Not many vets would do that.Flag

Name: Rebecca Dill on May 7, 2010Comments: I can't believe this. Dr Brester is by far the greatest veterinarian I've taken my animals to. Nothing but the best service. It breaks my heart hearing about this. I recently had my cat, Edward, at his office for a surgery. I would not have been able to afford any other vet in the state of Indiana. He is so very passionate about his work with animals. Dr Brester has provided excellent medical care for over forty years. Even when holding him against the highest medical standards he still comes out a cut above the rest. Dr Brester deserves our support. It’s the least we can do.Flag
