On Saturday April 19th, 2008... “Be the Change: 50 States Rally for Barack Obamaâ€
At 12 noon, by your local clock, in your own town square, at your own city hall or capitol grounds.

Beyond all divisions... Whether you are a woman or a man... No matter your race, whether white or black or Latino or Asian or all... Whether you live in Pennsylvania or in any other of the 50 states... No matter your creed, whether Christian or Jewish or Muslim or Buddhist or none of the above...
In this moment, if you believe that Barack Obama can help lead the United States to a more perfect union... If you believe that by working together we can conquer any challenge to health or prosperity or freedom in our time... If you believe that we can heal our nation, and so repair our world for future generations... If you are ready to put aside your own hurts, by reaching out to help your neighbors rise above and beyond... If you believe that only through a lasting peace can true unity come at this hour of greatest need...
Then stand with us, from Pennsylvania through the battleground states beyond it to the world’s reaches far and wide, and let your presence be felt, let your voice be heard, let your spirit be a spreading thing; and Rally and March for Barack Obama as President of the United States of America.

Rally not simply for Barack Obama the man, but for the moment he has helped to bring about, where so many have become inspired to believe that the world holds so much more hope than despair... Rally, against all odds, in the face of deep divisions that threaten to tear this country and our apart.
Rally for this moment, and for the future we can only build together, before the time we have to do so slips away.
Rally for unity, for peace, for the future, and for our children’s children, that they may know a world renewed... That they may know friendship beyond their differences in gender, or race, or state, or creed... Unified in their vitality as human beings on this fragile and beautiful world, the only world so filled with life of all the worlds we know... A candle in the night, waiting for the dawn.
