The BCS has failed in its goal to produce a true college football National Champion. Thought the problems with the system are evidenced in years past, they are most clear in the 2007 season. A playoff is the only fair way to determine the sport's champion. By signing this petition, I pledge to boycott the BCS National Championship game to show my desire to get rid of the current system.

A playoff system gets the controllers out of the game and the participants into the game. It would make college football better because the teams then know they have a chance of winning no matter what conference they are in. Houston is a prime example this year that they are undefeated and will not get to play in a serious bowl game. Oklahomoma St is ranked above Stanford. Stanford got beat by a high ranked team and Oklahoma State got beat by an unranked team. What a joke
Doyle Sherman, United States3 years ago Comments: I think the SEC is way over rated and to put OK State who got beat by unranked IA State ahead of Stanford is a slap in the face to the Pac 12. The SEC plays nothing but cupcakes on their home field. To be ranking LSU ALABAMA in 1 2 position is wrong. What a boring game. I refuse to watch any SEC game or the BCS bowl.
