Boot Camp For Life takes crime very seriously.  Lets look at the definition of crime; an action or an instance of negligence that is deemed injurious to the public welfare or morals or to the interests of the state and that is legally prohibited." We of the Community" feels that "The Slammer Newspaper" is a crime to all of those that are reading, advertising, and supporting this paper. Freedom of choice, we understand. You may say, what they are printing is not bad. They are helping the authorities fight crime by locating the sex offenders, fugitives, and most wanted. The Slammer have many success stories. Sounds convincing, but wait a minute, what about the person that missed their court date because their lawyer/or court made an error and their picture was posted as failure to appear in court or what about the person that was accused of a crime but later was found not guilty. Their character and reputation is scared for life. Many have lost employment, kicked out of clubs, sororities/fraternities ("brother and sister organizations") because of the negligence of The Slammer that we deem injurious to the public welfare and is prohibited by us. You make the decision whether this paper is good for our community. Freedom of choice, right?
