     A born entrepreneur, Brian wears many hats in his quest to find the American Dream-producer, engineer, and of course, singer-song writer. His music reflects that same nature-introspective, brutally truthful, yet hopeful. His lyrics are uplifting without beingt saccharine or trite. They are direct, moving and touch the lives of his many fans.

     Brian has shared the stage with Zac Brown, KISS, Colin Hay, Angie Aparo, James Otto, Marshall Tucker Band, Edwin McCain, Lyndyrd Skynyrd, Georgia Satellites and many more. As an accomplished producer/engineer, Brian started "Blue Light Studio" in 2005. He has produced and engineered albums and tracks for artists such as rockers Skid Row, Tony Lucca, Atlanta based T.I., Twista and Frank White, as well as acoustic rockers Nic Cowan adn Tim O'Donovan.

     Brian and his band keep an active performance schedule, traveling all over the country for over 150 dates a year. They just finished up a 6 week national tour opening for Southern Ground artist Nic Cowan. We, the devoted fans of Brian Collins Band, want to see him on stage at this year's Southern Ground Music and Food Festival in Charleston, South Carolina.

     We strongly feel he and his music (a bit of Zac Brown Band, Amos Lee, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban and Blackberry Smoke) would be a perfect fit for the atmosphere and community of the fest. The "Brian Collins Band Fans" facebook page already has well over 600 members and growing since November 2011.  Brain Collins on stage at SGMFF would do nothjng short of bringing more fans to the fest and adding a great talent to an even greater weekend of music, food and fun! Please consider this petition as the Brian Collins fans' official request to have them on the bill for the 2012 Southern Ground Music and Food Festival.
