Blizzard needs to bring back the guild ability "Have Group Will Travel". This ability is amazing and with a couple slight modifications can be made into a great tool for guilds. HGWT is useful for: • When a guild member needs help with a tough quest. • The guild wants to gather for a non-raiding event. • If a member comes across a world ***** that someone in the guild could use. For example a rare hunter pet, or a rare spawn someone needs for an achievement. • Moving lower level players to places they wouldn't otherwise get access to for a long time. • Helping someone get across the ocean when they just missed the zep. • Getting players to work together on more things and help each other out more often. • This ability is one of the few things in the game that encourages players to do things together outside of raiding! Why removing it is wrong: • Blizzard says this tool removes the need to explore the game, but it actually allows players to show others some of the amazing places they have been to or have seen in game. • Jumping on a flight point isn't exploring and most people just alt/tab out while they travel. • Here is an ability that is amazing for social, casual, leveling, role playing, questing, alt, and otherwise non raiding guilds. It has been removed for all the wrong reasons. This petition is to make it aware to Blizzard that us non raiders want useful tools from the guild level system. Every raid has a summoning stone in front of it, every dungeon has a summoning stone in front of it, most raids will have a mage and or a lock for portals and summonings. This is a tool that should be used for non raiding game play, this application was abused by some and ruined for everyone else. Here are my suggestions for HGWT: Leave the cool down at two hours, but if a player accepts the summons that players HGWT ability cool down is reset as well. Do not allow it to be used in enemy faction controlled zones. Do not allow it to be used in open pvp zones. Blizzard please do what ever you need to do within reason to bring this ability back!
