We, the undersigned, ask the BBC to suspend immediately the uncritical broadcast of all religious and superstitious programming. Examples of such output are 'Songs of Praise', 'Thought for the Day' and the reading of horoscopes on various shows across a number of BBC networks.

These programmes neither conform to the BBC's remit to inform, educate or entertain, nor are they necessary to comply with Section 264(6) of the Communications Act 2003, parts (i) and (ii).

The suspension should hold fast until such time that it can be scientifically proven which religion or superstition is actually true, at which point it can be broadcast as fact.

Finally someone said it. The bbc should be neutral and keep this stuff off the air. Nobody needs to hear horoscopes or sermons while trying to listen to the morning news.
