Name: DJ MacIntyre on Apr 15, 2010Comments: I am very disappointed that the decision to put BBC Alba on Freeview has been put on hold . As far as i am concerned the proof is there already that the viewing figures would substancially rise if the channel was to be made available for free. The language is part of our Culture and Heritage and for that reason alone we should be viewing it for nothing now! C`mon ,it is time for Gaelic to be recognised as part of our everyday lives.Location: InvernessFlag

Name: Andrew Wilson on Apr 15, 2010Comments: some folk are easily deterred, and up to date you have to be pretty determined to learn and stick with Gaelic, as I have. Please make the language easily available to as many people as possible, its our oldest surviving native language, and an essential part of what gives Scotland its unique Scottish identity.Location: Renfrewshire/ moving to Dumfries & GallowayFlag
