| 553 | Jonathan Phillips | Make him pay! He brought this ridiculous charge to court, he must face the consequences of it. Staggering!
If the BBC waives, then we call pay and that's unjust. |
| 554 | Anonymous | He seems to have a lot of faith in the will of God - maybe he could pray for the court costs? |

| 560 | Anonymous | It's god will that he took the BCC to court. It's gods will he lost. It's gods will he should pay. |
| 561 | Anonymous | I'm a Christian myself but am embarrassed by the actions of agresssive loonies like Green who try to foist their beliefs on an entire nation. Idiots like him who cite God's view as their own need to pay the price. To hell with him and his censorship ambitions! And besides aall that, there was no blasphemy in this show! Nutter. |

| 564 | Stuart Weightman | The 90K is not compensation or a fine that can be 'waived' by the rich if they don't need it! It is a legal bill that Green has nobody but himself and his personal-glory fantasies to blame for.
I only wish that this story was news in New Orleans for all those whom Green gloated over when Hurricane Katrina ripped through their lives and homes ('Purity Comes to New Orleans' -Sept '05) to see. |

| 566 | damian barr | the man is a bigot and must pay theprice for that. |
| 567 | Phil Clements | Pay up, sonny. And stop trying to play the insulted card when you belong to a religion that openly persecutes people. |

| 573 | Chris Kift | Justice for once. Green is a time waisting homophobic bigot. You can interpret the bible any way you wish, to your own ends and green certainly has an agenda that is unhealthy and certainly NOT CHRISTIAN in spirit.
I trust we will see him at Brighton Pride on August 2nd, if he can find the bus fare. |
| 574 | Pete swindells | Intellectually and morally bankrupt for decades, it's about time Steve completed the hat-trick. |

| 579 | Anonymous | I refuse to allow my portion of the BBC licence fee to be used to pay for the whimsical lawsuit brought on by this, the worst kind of bigotted moron. |
| 580 | Abi | Green is keen on people paying for their sins...bigotry of the kind he promotes is a sin so let him start paying...he owes a lot more for the pain he has caused people! Are we supposed to pity him for being Penniless? Surely the Bible teaches that God will provide? Jesus was penniless...did him no harm! So come on Green...put your money where your mouth is...test your faith! |

| 584 | Tom McKennan | Pay up, you spiteful little biggot. I hope it chokes you. |
| 585 | Thomas Aikenhead | Green must pay up, failing which his original backers should be traced and held to account. Otherwise, whilst (rightly) losing his legal action, he will have inflicted a de facto financial 'penalty' upon his victims, and imagine if other groups then followed suit - no hope (though ex facie if tenuously arguable) actions would might be raised by 'nothing to lose' ideologues so as to cause anguish and financial losses to those they hate. It is in the interest of society that Green should pay. Hubristic Green is now facing nemesis, and rightly so. |
| 586 | Anonymous | Why doesn't Stephen Green just get his imaginary friend in the sky to pay up? |

| 588 | Anonymous | As a Christian I worried that I would find Jerry Springer the Opera offensive, so I excersised my free will and i didn't watch it. This is a free country where people have the right to say what they want, a right that Stephen Green has taken advantage of a number of times when he has voiced his homophobic and anti Islamic views. I do not agree with the claim that Stephen Green is in some way being victimised for being a Christian, he was given a fair chance to fight his case and he lost and I wonder if the tables were turned, would he waive any damages awarded to him?
What I find more offensive than anything a comedian may say on a stage in the Westend, is ill-educated people using Gods name to justify their every action. |

| 595 | Peter Smith | Ask yourself this Green what would Jesus do?
He'd tell you to stop being a tw*t and then B*tch slap you, that's what. |
| 596 | Sam Sherwood | Hopefully Mr Greens descent into bankruptcy will give those who attempt to erode freedom of speech because of their own narrow minded views a clear message that they're acting alone, and must pay for it alone.

| 597 | Lee Ratbag | You LOST, Green. You hear? You LOST. Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's, you repulsive specimen. |
