307 JanetWhiteI believe that people should have the freedom to challenge the decisions of the BBC without fear of bankruptcy as a result of legal action. As a public body, the BBC has a responsibility to consider the views of members of the public and to be avoid broadcasting decisions that will cause offence to a significant proportion of its licence payers. I was very disapppointed with the BBC's atttitude towards viewers' objections in this case.

310 AlbertNaismithQuite apart from a fairly understandable sense of outrage at what is happening to Stephen Green at a time when celebrities are receiving such huge sums of money, I do feel that crippling costs incurred by such as Mr Green are enough to deter other decent people from taking on opponents who know all the ropes in such matters and who have the wealth and resources to overwhelm those who disagree with them. Sorry the sentence is so long!

312 AnonymousAnonymousAlthough as a liberal Christian, I disagree with Christian Voice on many issues, especially around sexuality, I think that the BBC should as an upholder of free speech not be associated with bankrupting someone who campaigns against them, especially on a programme that is bound to offend and upset many people.

314 JohnGlassI think, having made your point, you should consider waiving your costs
315 CeliaEllwoodPlease waive this cost order made against Stephen Green. I am happy for my licence fee to be set against this sort of thing. It was a perfectly fair and legitimate protest against an awful programme

320 RichardKemble-GordonI feel it is tottally unjustified to enforce the order made against Stephen Green when he is trying to uphold the decency in our nation and stop the immoral slide down into the pit that our nation is on.

322 AnonymousAnonymousWe should all have the opportunity to challenge the BBC or any other media when they try to go overboard particularly with publications that are very offensive to a section of the community. In this vein, it is imperative that the £90k costs against Stephen Green be waived.

324 Jesus Was GayGreen is a MoronMr Green is a self righteous tosser. His arrogance is breath taking. Malicious legal actions must be paid for. Its's clearly God's will that he pay up. I suggest he should sell his house (fear not Stephen, the lord will provide). Maybe that will make him think before he spouts more bigotted crap. Face it - no sane people believe moron's like Green. Hooray for Gays, Atheists and other supporters of free speech, rationalism and tolerance!

328 FCGoodlandA quite disgusting program which the BBC should never have shown. The fact that the tour failed suggests that the bulk of the population were not impressed by it. The alternative on BBC2 was that foul mouthed scot talking about Australia, not much of an alternative.

335 ShoukryRizkI am very sorry for the verdict. Prosecution costs and I do not approve of running the risk of losing a case. I hope the two offenders waive their costs and BBC should ask them to do that.

342 eKennedyIf I was complaining Muslim this would never have happened. Christians are easy targets now in this politically biased world.
343 W.S.BecketW.S.BecketIt seems absurd that Messrs Thoday and Thompson should be immune from civil action. Little wonder that the BBC is popularly reckoned to be unaccountable.
