PaulaWarrenAll will be well Stephen in Jesus name
HarryBarronThe fact that filth like the program mentioned can be put out by the BBC against strong opposition and using money from our licence fees is a disgrace. The sooner they are made to compete with other channels the better.

RichardDawkinsStephen, your word of the day is "Hubris".
EllaGuruAre some of you Christians posting here saying that S Green, in trying to get Jerry Springer The Opera axed, is equally as silly as the Muslims who protested about the cartoon? If not, what exactly are you saying?
DavePhippsThere are now more than 1300 signatures on the "BBC Must NOT Waive The Costs" petition. There are about 1400 on here BUT at least 1000 are (strongly)against the self-seeking, homophobic bigot. Getting the message yet God botherers?
Him that is calledI AMHe should stop whining and render unto the BBC what is the BBC's Psalms 25:12-13 (also Psalms 37:34) "Those who have reverence for the Lord … will always be prosperous" Proverbs 15:6 Righteous men keep their wealth, but wicked men lose theirs when hard times come.
gayandyTo angela mcdonald: if you are right behind steven green then my advice is to move as soon as possible, due to the amount of shit he puts out.
The ProphetMohammedSalaam, if Jerry Springer; The Opera shocked Stephen Green, a new gay porno DVD featuring Jesus having bum-sex with his 12 disciples will surely kill him. See http://www.freethinker.co.uk/2008/07/05/gay-jesus-porn-movie-approved-by-british-censors/
LemonGrassHarry Barron, the BBC does compete with other channels, you thick cunt
CharlesWindsorBy the way, I hope everyone realises that this petition is useless. It's not in Thompson or Thoday's power to waive these fees. Green has been ordered to pay this money by the court, and thus by extension the Crown. His refusal to pay up is a direct insult to the authority of HM the Queen, and in a happier age we'd have seen his head on a spike over London Bridge for that sort of behaviour.

I don'tthink soBBC, please pursue every penny so that these awful people will be financially as well as morally bankrupt. If you don't they'll use it for campaigns such as denying an abortion to an 11-year-old rape victim. That's how Christian they are. Sickening.

DavidMudkipsI do not think its fair that Stephen Green should have to pay unto Caesar after it was proven in a court of law that "Jerry Springer the Opera" wasn't a blasphemy. Whilst Jonathan Thoday's company may have lost $500,000 due to the actions of Stephen Green I think that they should turn the other cheek on this matter, just as Stephen Green failed to do. If nothing else Mr Green is obviously troubled, as proven by his inability to actually understand either the doctrine of Jesus, that £35,000 in legal fees isn't actually that much all considered, or what the opera in question was actually trying to say, and having such a disadvantaged person forced into bankruptcy just wouldn't be the Christian thing to do. As an alternative he could was all their cars once a week for the next 15 years, which would easily save them the same amount as the court costs and not leave him without a roof over his head.

AnonymousAnonymousmake the psycho pay!
BrianBrianAngela Macdonald - if the same thing had been said against Mohammed and then got attacked by a loony Muslim, ended up in court, and then had the Muslim saying 'ooh please don't make me pay' we would be telling them to fuck off as well
ednaWelthorpeIf you are lucky Stephen you will end up in prison and finally get to suck the devils cock.
ChristineSherrardAs a fully paid up British member of UK, as well as licence payer, I believe this outrageous fine ruling should be overturned by through the legal system let alone the demand for payment.
NigelWallaceStand up for Jesus! The power of Mammon shall not prevail against the power of Truth.
TonyRevealStephen, if I wasn't an atheist I would pray for you to rot in hell you bile filled neanderthal scumbag. But I'll settle for you being regularly arse raped in the showers when you go to prison for non payment of the court costs. And Christine Sherrard, 1428, as "a fully paid up British member of UK" might I suggest that you learn to use the language a little better so that you don't end up looking like some retarded fuckwit. Unless you are a retarded fuckwit of course, in which case kudos to you for using the computer in the first place.
StevieLoverI wanna go to prison so I can bum Stevie when he gets sent down for nonpayyment
RobertSmithI'm really surprised at all these Christians supporting Stephen Green, a man who often holidays in Morocco and Thailand. If he didn't frequent such places to buy presents for his friends then he wouldn't be in any financial straits.
RobertSmithGod told me this in a dream last night.
AnonymousAnonymousI really feel this is very unfair indeed
AmosPetersThis is pure barbarism in the name of civility. Is this the way to reward a person who is voicing out a genuine complaint regarding the grotesque manner in which the life of Jesus Christ is being portrayed--a life which laid the foundations of the noblest of ideals that is prevalent in the world? Please stop this massacre. It's like bread being snatched from a destitute and given to an overfed man only to derive sadistic pleasure from the plight of the poor person who has questioned the unfairness that is prevailing.
VazSmithI totally agree with the action of Mr Green, it is such a pity that the powers that be found in favour of those who seem to have the financial hammer, we the ordinary man in the street do not stand a chance in this system to challenge wrongs unless we have the money to do so. one thing I'll say God our father own's everything and without a doubt he will make a way for brother green

AndrewReedIn many political, moral and ethical respects, the BBC is in breach of its Charter, and shamelessly so. Its stock, among the people who fund it, is consequently sinking. It should waive costs in this case in order to restore something of its erstwhile reputation for upholding certain standards of public decency, which it seems otherwise to be intent on destroying.

QuackDuckGood on the BBC you derserve all you get why can't you mind your own business and stop sticking your nose where it isn't wanted. Don't let him away with it persue and persue
BigJoanOh for goodness sake will you lot get it into your thick heads that Jesus Christ was NOT portrayed in the despicable way that the lying hatemonger Stephen Green described, and THAT was- at least partly- why he lost his case.
ShortyPugwashI hope the vindictive munt burns in hell.
MichaelHallI believe the High Court was clearly wrong to uphold the Magistrates Court decision not to allow the private prosecution. There was ample evidence of blasphemy and it was a matter that should be been left for a jury to decide. The fact that the offence of blasphemy has since been abolished is irrelevant. Liberty should have supported the right of Mr Green to bring the private prosecution as in a free country we all have a right to see that the law is enforced as the law protects our liberties including the freedom of religion. Those who blaspheme show that they are intolerant of religion and wish to deny others the right to adhere to their beliefs.
SatanWorshiperJohn Beyer likes to stick his cock up Stephen Greens arse gives him a reach around and then proceed to suck the cum out with a straw. All while reading the bible and begging for
SimonQuinlankOK Michael Hall with your "ample evidence of blasphemy", give us some, right here right now. You can't, because there wasn't any, unless one has " a loose grasp of Judeo-Christian mythology" as the prelude to act 2 did say. Unless you count blasphemy done by the devil....which also means The Bible would be blasphemous! Twit.
StephenRobertsonI don't believe Mr Green doesn't have the money to pay this. If the courts had hadn't ruled against him then he then would have had to fund the actual trial itself which would have cost far more than £90k. So cough up. Loser.
DesRezGreen's forthcoming financial demise is a real example of Darwinism in action. Still, it will make taking that vow of poverty a lot easier for him. END BARBARISM - SECULARISE BRITAIN NOW.
PinkFloydHa ha Stevie boy, Charade you are. Pay up and shut the fuck up.
