roger | hitchings | Stephen Green was acting according to his conscience and should not be penalised for doing so. It was once a virtue highly valued in this country.

Anonymous | Anonymous | I am frankly appalled that the BBC can behave in such an outrageous manner. I recommend my licence fee be spent on these punitive costs rather than it being put towards the ridiculous salaries of people like Jonathan Ross.

| 68 | Stuart | Kirkham | Stephen Green is a man of principle and stabding up for what is right.
Pray that the costs will be waived. |

Margaret | MacLeod | I support Christian Voice in their stand in trying uphold the holiness of God and His son Jesus Christ. It is a sign of how far away the UK is from being the Christian country we like to think we are. We need to pray for the people who put on this blasphemous show because if they do not repent, they will face the wrath of Almighty God. The UK is in a worse state now than what Sodom and Gomorrah were in and look at the judgement God sent on them. Our country is in a sorry state due to people like Thoday, Thomson and Avalon promoting blasphemous filth like this. The UK needs to repent and turn back to God.

Elizabeth-Ann | Horsford | Remember 50,000 people wrote to the BBC asking for the Opera not to be shown and you ignored it. The least you can do now is to waive this huge penalty and restore respect for the BBC that many of us have lost.

Michael | Clark | Stephen Green acted on behalf of the vast majority of license payers and should not have to bear the costs of his public spirited action, taken in the tradition of respecting Christian civilised standards which form the basis of our national life.
Ann | Farmer | Publicly-funded broadcasters should be open to criticism and comment from the public and should acknowledge the strong public feelings aroused by broadcasting Jerry Springer: the Musical on BBC by waiving costs in this particular case.

John | Gillies | The only hope for our dysfunctional nation lies in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ - as earlier stated. May we be prepared for His Second Coming - for on that day "Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord"
Douglas | Prentice | Its always the wealthy who, having nothing to lose, will take on and laugh at the efforts made to correct badly managed, blasphemous productions. Its high time the dissolute and insouciant realised the shame they bring upon society which adds to the increasing breakdown of its morals and disciplines.
Mark | Barrett |
Christopher | Langley | I ask that BBC officials exercise tolerance to all points of view, particularly changing their apparently anti-Christian stance, and also that they acknowledge that much of their broadcasting is not representative of public taste.

Rafael | Marrinan | So now those who simply try to enforce the law have to humiliate themselves and ask a favour from blasphemers. Britain is a country run by Satan. It is finished.

Peter | Cotton | Sirs, I am writing to ask that you waive the costs awarded to you against Stephen Green of Christian Voice.
