I just attended the planning commission meeting on the Bayview apartment project set for Conway and KK. I am not opposed to something being built at this location, but I am opposed to the 5 story structure that they want to build. The compass has an article and a picture of the design, it is something comparable to the... new dorm UWM built on the eastside. The rent is outrages and the building structure does not fit the bayview neighborhood. There will be another meeting before the zoning and neighborhood commission on December 17th at 9:00am. I would like to get a petition together to oppose the 5-story structure, to reduce the size of the structure. Please contact me if you are opposed to this development. I will be attending that meeting, I would like to present the petition to the commission.
