We as residents own the Bay Colony Beach Club. We are it's only customers and we pay every expense it incurrs.  Last year we as Owners subsidised the Beach Club with in excess of half a million dollars. Yet when an Owner offers constructive critism or make a suggestion to our General Manager we have no means of pursuing that suggestion should he chooses.

In theory an Owner might write a letter to the Beach Club Committee. However, should an Owner wich to attend one of the Beach Club Committee's four annual meetings that Owner is not permitted to speak. He or she may listen, but may not speak.

The Beach Club Committee is currently made up of seven menbers. The Chairperson is appointed by the Executive Committee and is currently Bette Beale of the Remington. The other six have been on that Committee for varying amounts of time and may or may not have any experience in Hotel or Restaurant Management. The authors of this Petition are uncertain who exactly may have appointed them or what qualifications they posess.

The purpose of this petition is to change the composition of the Beach Club Committee so that it might be more responsive to the owners of the Beach Club. Please help us by not only signing this petition, but sharing it with your friends and neighbors.
