Robert Bateman, one of Canada\'s most respected artists has not yet been included in the National Art Gallery of Canada. His exclusion from the gallery is a product of those in charge attempting to decide for you, the Canadian Tax payer what is and is not art. The scope of Bateman\'s life work in art travels well beyond the realism he has become known for. He has been a tireless supporter of Art, Environment and Canada for his career which has spanned more than 50 years. It is time Robert Bateman be recognized for these contributions.
