It was a dark, stormy night. The best team in the tournament (so far), were up against the host nation in what would turn out to be one of the most enthralling games of our time. The game started well for the English with Micheal Owen finally getting his goal. But catastrophe was yet to hit England. Wonderkid, top scorer Wayne Rooney was subbed off with a broken ankle (or something). England would have to play well without him. Anyway to the point. Portugal equalised and in the 90th minute England had a great chance to win. Sol Campbell hit the bar with a header. The ball came back off the bar before being headed in by the recovered Campbell. He wheeled away in celebration. But no my friends, this is where the tale gets gruesome. A perfectly fair goal was then ruled out by this pons of a referee. A look to his linesman indicated that nothing was wrong but this man wanted England out. He stuck by his guns and said said no, obviously having been paid or something. Infact, to make it worse, he allowed Portugal to take a quick free kick with half the English team still celebrating. Grrrrr.....this made many English mad The only solution I can think to why he made this crude decision is probably over some kind of bondage session with Cristiano Ronaldo when Cristiano only agreed to meet him again if Portugal won. This was an oppertunity no-one could turn down (in his mind). Over the whole game, the Swiss roll of a referee made some exceedingly poor decisions and it eventually cost England so very much. I\'m not asking for much. My 1st instinct for him to be hung, drawn and quarterd but I assumed I\'d have some human rights protestors after me. I have a reasonable ask of getting this prick of a man sacked from his job. Hopefully, they\'ll be people out there who understand my good claims and will agree and join me in sending this man down.
