KatieMaureen Johnson's books are some of the best out there and it is simply wrong to ban any of them.
Justine LarbalestierI have read and loved THE BERMUDEZ TRIANGLE. There is no sex in it, no violence and no swearing, it is not anti-Christian or anti any other religion. The book is clean as a whistle. It's also a wonderful examination of friendship. There is no reason in the world to ban this book.

Lisa WolfsonI would be happy to forward my copy of THE BERMUDEZ TRIANGLE for anyone wishing to read it. Protect free speech. Refuse to participate in acts of ignorance. Thank you.
dave pickeringBanning of any books in any context is wrong. But the banning of this book is extremely wrong because it is being banned for reasons that are not appropriate to its content.
AnonymousBook banning is wrong! Homophobia is ignorant and wrong! Put Bermudez back on the shelf!

juliai do not want this book to be banned because it is not bad and homophobes are freaks.

Ashley SmithIf the book in question had actually been read by the committee and understood by the parent writing the complaint (and if the complaint was something better founded then homophobia) then MAYBE the banning of this book would be a little more understandable. But as it is, the banning of this book for the reasons presented ESPECIALLY because some of the members trying to ban it haven't read the book yet is completely unreasonable.

Lenna OlmecRead the Bermudez Triangle people, and then judge it for yourself. Then buy bricks, and hurl them at the head of the Bartlesvile School Admin. UGH

Dawn EdelenEveryone has a right to choose what they want to read or what they don't want to read. Banning steals that right, and no one deserves to have that right taken away from them.

Caitlin RollerA lot of lies have been spread about this book, but I can personally say that it is a whole lot of absolutely nothing. In addition, the students of the Bartlesville school district have a right as Americans to read and have avalible to them whatever books they choose.
Heidi R. KlingThank you for listening.

Jessica QuiltyBanning this book violates free speech. Banning this book homophobic. And above all, banning this book without telling the community and without even reading it is criminal. Support intellectual rights and freedom. Isn't this America?
AnonymousHonestly, there is no need for this book to be banned AT ALL.

Katherine Elizabeth HazenThis should not even be an issue, removing this book would be irresponsible and closed minded.

Ryan FreebernDon't support homophobia!
Kristi ConnerWhen I heard about this I was outraged at the nerve of a parent to want to get a book banned because there were lesbians in it. That is discrimination and it is simply wrong. No one deserves to be discriminated against. NO ONE!

Y. IleanaTo ban a book just because it has homosexual content is both backward and ignorant. If these book-banners don't want to live in freedom with the rest of us, they should leave America so that they don't compromise freedom for everyone else.
Isabela OliveiraBook banning is just plain wrong, in so many ways. Even if you have a problem with a book personally, don't make it so everyone can't read it either. It's unfair and the reasons given for banning THE BERMUDEZ TRIANGLE are homophobic. One person shouldn't be able to decide what is right or wrong for a group of people. Let the book stay!
