On the 18th December 2008 Barclays Bank served Ummah welfare Trust with a 30 day notice to close their bank account! Barlays offered NO explanation for this move, which sets an extremely precedent of disrupting Islamic charities, especialy as INTERPAL is in the process of having its bank account closed by Lloyds TSB. we must protest against the illegal move of these banks!
