Today,1st March 2008, High Tax Hartlepool are challenging both Hartlepool Borough Council and Local Supermarkets to put the town at the forefront of the movement to remove the ubiquitous plastic bag from our local environment by asking them to work together along with other retail stores to achieve a complete ban on the use of plastic carrier bags within the boundary of Hartlepool by the end of 2010. By signing this petition, you are adding your support to our campaign for which we are very grateful.
