Put a stop to this nonsense and leave all "free" citizens alone. Social engineering is wrong, wrong, wrong.Flag

Name: Donna Schmitt on Oct 27, 2010Comments: When this first went into effect in cities like Minneapolis and St Paul it was a great benefit to our city because we were getting more people coming to use our restaurants and bars because our city allowed smoking in our public restaurants. I am not a smoker, never have been a smoker but feel this is an issue that should be determined by a local business not by government. This is a choice that people make. As long as smoking is legal and the sale of cigarettes are legal this should be left up to businesses and patrons to decide if they want to include this or frequent a business that allows smoking, not denied by government.Flag

Name: Libby Zipp on Mar 4, 2011Comments: our law makers allow buisness to use harmful canser causing acitone and countless others with little regulation. Its time our law makers start working for the people they represnt not those who buy there campains. I'm a non smoker and I think its rediculis the way there trying to ignore the obvious negitive impact. Many bar owners are just hanging on. to group them with restrants is unfair. I can honestly say as a bar owner I have yet to be asked by a single so called represenitive how its affected us or what I think. Course I just pay there wages w my tax revenew I don't pay for ther campains or provide any other kick backs so who am I?Flag
