| 6 | Annette Costello | Please know that as a concerned citizen of this state, I am a consumer and am totally aware of the 200+ establishments that have closed following this intrusion into my choices. I will also be conscious of who supported this when voting, and you can be certain that I'll be very vocal in making sure my vote counts. Thank you! |
| 7 | Kristine Shelander | I believe that the American government, at a state and federal level, has begun setting very dangerous precedents that are eroding the freedoms and rights of its citizens. Our legislative process has become the playground for insurance and pharmaceutical companies, health organizations and, misguided do-gooders. The rights of the citizens as a whole are being compromised. These precedents are based on an ideology of protecting the masses from themselves but they are also based on bogus science that has rarely been called into question by the powers that be. The end result of these illogical laws is an imbalance of more harm coming to the public than the protection they are ostensibly propagating. |

| 9 | Dave Urbik | I, for one, am rather tired of people thinking they should be allowed to dictate what goes and what doesn't in businesses that they don't even go to in the first place! |

| 13 | Birdie Johnson | education not legislation! I am a small bar owner and very close to closing because of this ban. |
| 14 | John Goodman | Thanks government but I can make my own decisions thank you. Try concentrating on government infrastructure and budgets instead. Not lives and personal habbits and choices. |

| 17 | Barb Reed | We the people-want our rights back: smoke or not to smoke
Give business back there business or no one can pay the taxes......out of business |
| 18 | Terri Horridge | Government has become to large when it infringes on personal freedom, and property owners rights. Its time to let adults, make adult decisions for themselves. Please let common sense prevail in this issue. |

| 31 | Anonymous | It was just a ploy to ban cigarettes. It not only infringes on the rights of people, it deprives certian business owners of revenue. It also deprives the state of revenue. just plain dumb. BTW, I am a non-smoker. |
| 32 | Dawn Mayasich | Please treat the rights of smokers correctly as we pay an extra tax on cigarettes to support non-smoking issues. Dawn Mayasich |

| 37 | Anonymous | I was a smoker some years ago. I have since quit. But I feel that everyone has a right to chose. No being a non-smoker I would like to see a smoking room for smokers. So non-smokers have a choice still. And smokers do not have to stand outside and freeze in the winter. |
| 38 | Mitchell Wulff | Get government out of my private life and personal decisions!!!!!!! |
| 39 | Brian Kaiser | Tim P is another "Pencil pusher" who
"caved in"
because a few Dems were telling him to do so.
I have very little faith in the Dems and even less in the Reps.
Common sense Regulation is a Good thing.
Crooks slipping bills & Laws through without really
caring what the people really want is not a Good thing! |

| 41 | Tony Baker | I thought our country was for the people and choice. Where is the choice here? |
| 42 | Michael Zehner | Smoking bans hurt small businesses and destroy freedom of choice. |
| 43 | Natalia Edgar | I am a light smoker, maybe 1-3 cigarettes a day. However when I go out to a bar, that is when I want to enjoy a cigarette with my cocktail. I will agree some nightclubs should be non-smoking, or places that make most of their money on food-sales. But NOT little local pubs where all the employees and all the customers are smokers. Large nightclubs and restaurants-yes.
Little family-owned pubs-NO.
Let them smoke!! |
