Name: Lisa Arnold on Nov 4, 2009Comments: Maybe the focus should be less on banning things as that has a negative connotation and sometimes deters people from something important. Instead we should strongly promote the use of reusable bags with explanations and specific examples as to why that is so important.Flag

There are many materials out there that are bio-degradeable that could be substituted for plastic. And of course, a campaign for shoppers to bring their own reuseable bags would be of tremedous benefit in cutting down on one time use packaging!!!Flag
