A persons decision to join the Armed Forces should be respected and applauded. They are doing a job that many of us would never do; protecting our countries freedoms. The military is protecting the right to free speech, the right to assemble, and many other freedoms, yet, while fighting to guarantee these freedoms for extremists, they themselves are not guaranteed a peaceful burial. The purpose of this petition is to ban protesting at military funerals so that family and friends can mourn without the presence of protestors. If you agree that protestors should notbe allowed to assemble at military funerals, please sign this petition. The more attention we get, the more likely we are to get attention from our Government representatives. It doesn't matter if you are for or against the war, this petition is about being FOR a peaceful, proper burial for those who gave their lives to protect us. These people can protest all they want, just somewhere else.
