Help encourage the Chino Hills City Council to take immediate action to ban plastic bags from Chino Hills.

An estimated 19 billion plastic bags are used in California each year and less than 5% of plastic bags consumed in California are recycled. Plastic takes hundreds of years to breakdown and many plastic types can never fully biodegrade.

Banning single-use plastic bags would not only help reduce landfill waste and city litter issues, but maintain the beauty and integrity of our hills and local ecosystem.

As concerned citizens of Chino Hills, we need to show support to make Chino Hills the next city to follow the green footsteps of LA County, San Francisco, other major US cities and countries around the globe.

We urge the Chino Hills City Council to show their care and commitment to the environment and their constituents by scheduling this issue for immediate public discussion.

It's simple and easy. Sign this petition today to urge the our leaders to make this a priority in Chino Hills! Our hope that our city can be another shining example of environmental responsibility.
