while giving a rate of return of savings - 1 % to under 2% INTEREST to the average public ,banks charge a rip off of up to 20 % or more -for credit card fees, apr ----- this is unjust to the customer ,who in deed are making up for the morgage mess caused by banks and congress - history always show that higher rates apply in inflationary times which also adds interest to cds and savings - this 1 - 15 x to 20 x their interest is unjust --perhaps credit card interest should be a mere 3 - 4 % max since thats 300 to 400 % more that their paying -
