I took VRS from United Bank Of India on 30/4/2008 after serving for more than 34 years as per the scheme available in my Bank. I now find that the authorities are not considering our VRS category retirees as eligible for second option of pension. This is gross injustice beig meted out to these category of retirees as it is against law, there should not be any discrimination amongst retirees and we are in no way inferior to those SVRS retirees who are considered for the option. It is therefore requested that the option for pension be please extended to the VRS employees of the Bank who have been denied their rightful privilege for no fault, having put considereable period of service and exited honourably.
