I felt lead it was time for hard working citizens to address the local banks about their procedures and banking systems. After researching different banking institutions, I am discovering they are practicing unethical methods that are keeping middle to low class families below the poverty level.
Banks are designed plans for money marketing, CDs and more but the majority of people use their local banks for services such as savings, checking etc. We use them for direct deposit and sometime bill paying or for that VISA/MASTERCARD. Instead of these services benefiting us it seems like they are benefiting the banks. They even talk you into getting over draft protection to help you.
The stories shared in the comments reveal a persistent cycle of financial strain caused by these banking practices. I am currently compiling this information to present a formal request for transparency to the local institutions involved.

Banks are just legalized robbers. I pay them to keep my money safe not to nickel and dime me into the ground.

Agreed. It feels like they prey on people who are already struggling. We need actual regulation.

My bank charged me 35 dollars because I was literally 2 dollars short. How is that fair?? It is just a scam to keep us broke.
