Numerous complaints from Anandtech forum members have prompted this petition to ban permanently the user named "Bar81" in both username and IP addresses associated with this user.
This user has repeatedly started flame-inducing threads for what seems his own entertainment. Vulgar remarks and insults are commonplace in Bar81's online vocabulary. Anyone that dares not agree with Bar81's point of view is accused of being on somebody's payroll. So, the Anandtech members requested this petition, when completed, to be submitted to the Anandtech Moderators in the hopes that they will find favor in all the members complaints and permanently ban Bar81 and all associated IP addresses. Numerous attempts were made to reason with Bar81 and to calmly discuss things. Bar81 seems to favor disruption and chaos, as he seems to continually fuel the fires he starts. We would all like to see him go. There are a few other members, not yet petition worthy, who are catching up to Bar81's annoyance status. Maybe this petition will stunt their growth a bit and let them become useful forum members. |
