We call on the Federal Government to introduce laws to stop banks and financial institutions from charging customers a fee for using their Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). We feel that a fee should only be charged for a service that costs a company money to provide. As ATM transactions are entirely automated and cost banks essentially nothing to run, they should not be allowed to charge us exorbitant fees for this service.
