As a Mother-Grandmother and former member of West Midlands Police force-I am urging members of the public to sign my petition to Ban the use of Tasers by British Police Force-The use of these Tasers is Barbaric and similar to cattle prods-British Police are trained as a Peace Keeping force and therefore should be able to talk down any situation-if they unable to calm a situation by talking to the suspect then they should not be in the job as it is obvious that they do not have the skills required. These Tasers are not always used in compliance with Regulatory Guidelines and can cause psychological damage as well as physical injury-The Human race should be treated as just that Human and should be treated in a humane way-we should not inflict injury to another being regardless of the circumstance-Using these Tasers is inflicting assault on another human being and the culprit should be charged with assault-
