I had to have surgerie for a hernia October 6th 2009 well after surgerie the dr said everything went well. i was still in the hospital a couple days later i started running a high fever of 103 the dr thought it was an infection they ran some tests on me and could not find anything so a week later i went for another surgerie the dr found a peice of mesh broke off and infected my bowels.while he was in there he took some bowel out and put an ostomy on me after surgerie i was confused not knowing what was stuck to my stomach dr never told me about this that this could happen.well i ripped it off of me big mistake. i stayed in the hospital for a few weeks more .I went home needing to have nurses come in twice a day to bandage my wounds that i got from the infection i was home a week depressed and sucidal i did not eat anything so i didnt answer my phone i was passed out for 24 hours my mom was worried came and found me passed out took me to the hospital i ended up having kidney failure and almost died. so i stayed in hospital tell i got better and wen back home with nurses twice a day for another 6 months finally in july of 2010 my ostomy came off of me. and I ended up firing my surgeon after. till this day i have more hernias like 4 in my stomach. they wont operate because i have no stomach wall or scar tissue. I take morphine for pain 3 times a day this is no life to live at all these surgical mesh does more harm to people and can even kill you. So I would like 1 million peopel to sign this so we can take this to the white house and show them that they should ban the use of surgical mesh I hope this never hapens to anyone else I am depressed every day. in pain every day and feel like I have no purpose in life because I can not work.
