Not only the stake of innocent lives is at risk but it costs a lot of money.Mostly in pre-trial and trial stages. It also cost alot more money for the death penalty than to put someone in prison. Most people would think that it would keep us safer if we had the death penalty, but it dose'nt.Homicide rates for states that use the death penalty are a considerably higher than states that don't have the death penalty. A lot of people think that familys with murder victims what the death penalty imposed,but 90% of the familys don't want it imposed. One of our christian concerns is that the bible teaches us about the state of putting people to daeth, and that it is wrong.
