This petition is simple. To communicate to the Alderman (Joe Moore) that the citizens of the 49th Ward in the City of Chicago do not want Red Light or Speed Cameras in the ward. We do not believe they promote safety We do believe that they are nothing more than a program to generate revenue. We do believe that they are not supported by sound, unbiased statistical evidence We the People of the 49th Ward call on our Alderman to hear the call of his constituents and take up the cause to remove the cameras i nour ward and to promote the ban throughout the city.
