Why do ALL fuel companies try to con the customer with a price advertised on forecourts of, say, £1.44 per litre, when upon closer inspection, they really display £1.44.9? The ".9" part is in extremey small text, but it's there so they get away with charging it! If I were to put EXACTLY ONE LITRE of fuel in my car, would I get a tenth of a penny change if I hand over £1.45? NO! I would be charged the full £1.45! Work out how many tenths of a penny are charged for each litre every day and how much money is being made out of the poor customer. For every 10 litres, that is a penny extra made. If you put 50 litres in your tank, that's 5p made. Total up all the millions of cars that fill up each day - that's some cash being siphoned off somewhere! We seem to accept this stupid charge but no-one does anything about it! I am sick to death of high fuel charges! Let's bite back and demand the fuel companies display the CORRECT price and round things up to the full amount! There is NO excuse for ripping people off!
