The State of Oregon has no law that bans predatory "patrol towing". Both California and Washington have bans on tow companies roving around and hooking up vehicles without responding to a call from a property owner. Because Oregon lacks a ban on patrol towing, you might go in to work on a weekend, park in the company lot, and come out later to find your car gone. Hundreds of dollars later, and maybe with damage done to our vehicle, you would join the hundreds who have been victimzed by unregulated patrol towing outfits. Don't wait to be vicitimized.
