Many of us have heard, and suffered from, the the phoned-in, whining voice of D.K. (you know who he is), the owner advertising his Ford dealerships on the radio. The ads are played many times every day on many area radio stations. Some of the stations (there are probably more) are: 95.7, 104.7 The Point 107.1, Frank FM 93.7, The Outlaw 106.3, The Notch These ads are extremely irritating, causing us to change the station or turn off the radio. When this happens, the stations are losing listeners and worse, other advertisers who are paying for ads that follow these ads are losing listeners. It's time that this daily assault on our ears and intelligence are stopped. It's okay to advertise your business, but please don't grate on our nerves. If you are tired of hearing these annoying ads, offer your input by calling or writing to your favorite radio stations. Also this petition here can be signed so that all of us and the administrators at the radio stations can see how many of us are in agreement that relief from this constant annoyance is needed. If you purchase advertising on these stations, ask that your ads do not follow these offending ads. Thanks to all who respond and to the radio stations for hopefully making a change.
