Missouri's streams are in danger. The use of power boats on the upper Meremac, Courtios Creek and Huzzah River damages the local ecology. Power boats sweep away fish eggs, damaging future fish populations. They also pose a safety risk to floaters, fisherman, and swimmers. We believe banning them in these streams will not only promote a healthy ecosystem in the area, but also eliminate safety risks.
