Lives are lost every year due to death penalty. Survey reports say that 50% of Americans believe that death penalty is applied unfairly. If death penalty gets banned from the U.S., this will eliminate the possibilities of executing an innocent person. A lot of people don't know that the death penalty violates the human rights to live free of any inhuman torture. We need to act on this now before it continues and hurts the future generations of the U.S.
