sandra mcneill | All research shows that women-only provision and separate black women-only provision is what is needed if abused women are to access services and then get on with leading productive lives. Investment in such services saves money long term.

LESLEY HAGUE | As a Domestic Violence Counsellor and survivor I can empathise with any woman going through this, but can only imagine what that might be like for women from ethnic backgrounds who have little or no support around them. I sign this petition on their behalf.

ARLENE SCOTT | I created and run a BAMER organisation in Tower Hamlets assisting (primarily) black women and men affected by domestic violence. My organisation is funded solely on donations but the lack of funding has not prevented us from providing the crucial assistance sought by the men and women within our community as well as outside the borough. Both central and local government must be made aware of the exemplary work accomplished by BAMER organisations and that funding given should not be generic specific but provided to all.
| 246 | Anonymous | I support the campaign.

Rosie Robinson Boardman |
Janice Williams | As BME families often have more children, who will be negatively effective by domestic violence it is even more important to save their services than so-called mainstream DV services
