Help move Balwearie Gymnastics Club forward

 Please sign this petition to help Balwearie Gymnastics Club move into new purpose built premises.  We have found a new building which we think is ideal for our club, only after speaking to the planning department within the council, we were informed that we were unlikely to be granted planning, as they would like this particular building to be rented by a business, although the owner is more than happy to rent to us at particularly low rates. 

 As one of the largest clubs in Scotland we would like our gymnasts to train in facilities that are on offer all year round and not to have to cancel classes at the last minute due to other functions.  At present we have lost our Sunday and 2 hours on the Saturday due to community use cut backs.  We are also going to incur a large facility hire increase. 

 In a new facility we would be able to offer more day/time options for your childs training, as at the moment we are very limited.

 Some of our current gymnasts are at competition level and are competing on sprung floors, we would like for them to be able to train on one as well. 

 In new facilities we would have all of the equipment in one room therefore all gymnasts would have access to this during their training.

 We were unable to do an intake of gymnasts over the past year as we new these cuts were imminent, and will only have a few spaces per class available this session as we have had to merge a lot of our classes due to the reduced hours on offer.

 We currently have over 200 gymnasts on our waiting list and we would be able to offer most of them a space in a new facility.  But as it stands just now this is not possible.

 Please sign our petition in which we plan to submit to the council to aid our application.
