| 2 | Michael Miller | Over 700 houses being built in lacallity. Need to keep for the local community. Elderley and less mobile would find the extra journey into town difficult. |

| 4 | p j chapman | This closure is unneccasary especially as the extra houses in the Horley masterplalan will be constructed in the very near future.
What provision will be made to accomodate the extra demand for postal services and more importantly how does the Post Office intend to cater for the very significant number of elderly and infirm residents who rely on this Post Office? |
| 5 | J A Chapman | As an elderly and infirm resident please ask the Post Office to explain how i now have access to a functional Post Office outlett and what provision has been made to accpmodate my disability whilst spending a considerabley longer period queueing up to be served |
| 6 | F M Chapman | The Balcobe Road Post Office is very conveinient as we can park immediately oudside.
This is not posible at the alternative locations.
Please explain how disabled people can use the alternatives on offer |

| 9 | Anonymous | I think it is most important that the Balcombe Road Post Office is kept open to serve the residents living in that part of town, particularly the elderly, who find it difficult to get into the town centre, and even more difficult to park cars. |
| 10 | Rebecca Freestone | This is vital Post Office for Pensioners, Local Businesses, Local Community. Easy access Balcombe Road is far easier than having to go into Horley. No parking and always long queues in Horley main Post Office. I will have to look for alternative postage arrangements for my mail order business and this will probably be a courier firm if this Post Office closes. If my business survives the closure it will increase my costs as I will have futher to and go and will have to pay for parking in Horley as my goods are too heavy to carry and walk.
Ms Jahal business is vital to this part of Horley. |

| 14 | Anonymous | Very important for small buiness people who do not have alot of time to go to town to do banking ect. It is quick and easy to use your local post office plus good for the community and elderly |

| 19 | Anonymous | The town post office cannot cope with the demands and is always subject of very long queues and no parking outside. |

| 22 | Mary Healy | I would like to say
"Save Balcombe Road Post Office" |
| 23 | GARY WHITWORTH | I USE THE BALCOMBE RD POST OFFICE ALMOST EVERY DAY - WITH THE EXTRA HOUSE PROGRAMMED FOR THE AREA - THE CLOSURE OF THIS POST OFFICE IS MADNESS. IT WILL INCREASE CO2 EMISSIONS NO END |
| 24 | PAULINE WHITWORTH | TO CLOSE BALCOMBE RD POST OFFICE IS TOTALLY CRAZY |
| 25 | malcolm davidson | |
| 26 | maxine | |
| 27 | Carmen | I would like to add my support to Peter Ainsworth's campaign. |
| 28 | Richard Olliver | It seems crazy to shut a post office adjacent to a very large major development which is about to be built in Horley. |
| 29 | Graham Smith | The clousure of the Balcombe Road Post office makes no sense at all.
It provides a friendly service and contributes to the rapidly expanding community who, if closure proceeds, would have to join longer queues than those that already exist at the Consort Way Post Office. |
| 30 | F I Brown | The closure of this valuable local asset would be a scandal. |
| 31 | Valerie Marshall | There will be 700 new houses being built nearby in the next few months. There are always queues at the Post Office in Consort Way. A lot of elderly people cash their pensions at the PO and it is a long way for them into the town centre from the eastern side of Horley. |
| 32 | Nelly Carew-Gibbs | Why ??? this is an asset to the community, somewhere where you can nip in if you are in hurry, or where you can have a friendly chat if you have the time. you can park your car if you need to drive,
the postmistress always friendly and helpful.
don't close the post office, consult the local community if you are in doubt about its necessity. |

| 34 | Jean Apps | Apart from the hardship to residents who already live that side of the town, especially the elderly and infirm, It is madness to close Balcombe Road Post Office, when so many new houses are going to be built nearby. |

| 36 | Roy Martin | The closure of this valuable local asset would be scandalous, this is a viable post office that is tremendously important to a fast expanding community in this part of Horley |

| 39 | Mr L.P.Bush | I totaly disagree with the closure of the local Post Offices especially the Balcome Road Office run by Ms Johal, as it is such and asset to our local community. This would put such a strain on the main office making que`s and disruption in the town centre especially much harder for disabled
people. What are we coming to! With progress and things should be getting better for the community and not worse. are we going back to the dark ages. What next will it be. I totaly support Mr Peter Ainsworth and all he is doing for us. |
| 40 | Anonymous | Closing this Post Office will result in an extra 15 minute (minimum) walk for local residentsand will severly inconvenience those businesses on and around the Metro Business area. Has the residential expansion of this area of Horley been taken into account? |

| 42 | eric Britt | Both Pensioners & young mums are able to walk to & fro for their P.O.needs. If required to travel by car to the town centre, this would create extra journies, which would not help our local enviroment. The P.O. in Horley Town, also has queues at most times, already & not much help from counter staff |

| 49 | Sandra Bass | I can walk to this post office which is cutting out the carbon footprint instead of driving into Horley Town Centre and is much more convenient. The Post Office in Consort Way cannot cope now so it would be twice as bad if we lose Balcombe Road. |
| 50 | Frdd Bass | This post office is so convenient and I can walk to it.
The post office in Consort Way never has enough positions open and cannot cope with the amount of customers as it is, without Balcombe Road it will be even worse. |
