3rd Sept 2010. A brilliantly told story was brought to a grinding halt, merely to make way for newer shows.
Several months on, Bairi Piya is as vividly remembered & gravely missed by its many fans, for its unique concept, the cliffhanger episodes & mainly for the intense portrayal of the anti-hero by Sharad Kelkar juxtaposed against the credulous fortitude enacted by Supriya Kumari.
We, members of the still increasing fan-base appeal to you - the master storytellers for a new story of a similar genre, befitting the same able lead cast.Unanimously, we your loyal viewers petition you, to return to us the ‘Same Jodi in a New Story’.

The stories you share about why this duo matters are proving how much chemistry we lost. I am taking all of your passion directly to the production offices.

This is my first time watching Bairi Piya. I have never seen a serial like this before, with a unique story. I started watching this serial in September 2022. That is 12 years after Bairi Piya went off air. I loved the story and the characters, 'Thakur Digvijay Singh' and 'Amoli' and I love Sarath Kelkar sir and Supriya mam who played these two characters, their excellent acting. Because of them, I feel like watching this series again and again and again. (But sadly full episodes of Bairi Piya are not available). I would love to see this pair together again, a Bairi Piya Season 2 or come with another unique story. I am waiting for this dream to become a reality.
