Comments: Because of this, states will not have money to fill potholes or staff schools. Recipients should pick up the slack with community service.

Comments: Working in the San Bernadino area of CA I see almost everyone with houses they can not afford involved in foreclosures, short sales etc.... People discuss ways to get your credit back in 2 years to buy another house after foreclosure now and how to buy another house while your credit is good before you foreclose on the first. Many people have bought multiple homes they are foreclosing on. One person has had 6 homes all of which had to be foreclosed/short sale. These people took huge irresponsible risks. They would be rich from their risk if the Market just went up. But when it falls we the taxpayers pay for their mistake in taxes and in a crashing economy.

Comments: We must be accountable for our actions or lack thereof. Examine the original loan applications and you will see peoiple lied about their actual income and wrote in false income to get the loan approved. It was everywhere. Just be accountable and LOOK!

Comments: This will fail and more money spent on a sinking ship. When wil housing fundamentals become part of the argument How about income vs home price, rent to mortgage, etc. You are killing the middle class and rewarding the irresponsible.

Comments: The same standard should also be extended to the worthless heads of all the major banks and corporations who are getting paid for their gross incompetence and usurping all of the money from those of us who live our lives responsibly.

Comments: Taking my money in the form of taxes to pay for other peoples houses is pure robbery. The government is not above the law and should not STEAL my money for political gain.
