This petition is created in order to let Congressional leaders know the importance of passing legislation that will allow veteran's utilizing the Post 9/11 GI Bill to receive FULL BAH benefits for distance learning classes, regardless of any "in residence" courses. Allowing BAH for distance learning would give these veterans a larger selection of schools and afford them the opportunity to complete their degree online. This is an issue that affects thousands of veterans who work full time, tend to their families, or have other obligations that don't allow for on campus classwork. Changing this legislation is not only imperative, but fair to all veteran's seeking equal benefits.
